AirTac Solenoid Valve 12v & 24v

The Freespool and Air Brake Solenoid Valve is a high-quality, direct-action 2-way operating valve specifically designed for critical air control applications in winching systems. Manufactured by AirTac, a reputable factory, this valve ensures precise and reliable operation for your pneumatic systems.

Each valve features a robust aluminium body complemented by stainless steel inner parts and nitrile rubber seals, guaranteeing exceptional durability and resistance to wear. This construction makes it perfectly suited for controlling the flow of air and various other non-corrosive gases, handling a maximum differential pressure of 150psi (10 bar) with ease.

Singularly mounted, the valve is equipped with convenient 1/8" BSP ports for straightforward integration into your existing pneumatic lines. At Red Winches, this AirTac solenoid is our preferred choice and is currently utilised across our entire range of winches, including the Hornet2, Cobra2, Atom, and Explorer2 models, a testament to its consistent performance and reliability.

We source these solenoids directly from the AirTac factory to ensure authenticity and quality. Be vigilant of cheaper copies available online, as their performance and longevity cannot be guaranteed.

The electrical connection is facilitated by a three-pin DIN 40050 connector (available separately), offering a secure and standardised interface. Each valve is supplied complete with essential air fittings and a robust mounting bracket, enabling a quick and easy installation.
