RED Winches Force Multiplier – FM-24
The FM-24 is a compact, high-strength recovery solution designed for larger overland and commercial vehicles that struggle with self-recovery. Using mechanical advantage, it enables smaller vehicles—or even regular road cars—to assist in recovery with ease. Capable of 4:1 or 5:1 force multiplication depending on the rigging setup, and also usable as a traditional 2:1 snatch or pulley block, the FM-24 offers unmatched flexibility in the field.
Tested to 240kN (24 tonnes), this lightweight system weighs just 7.5kg and is fully field-serviceable with only two hex tools. All steel components are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance, and the pulleys run on self-lubricating bearings. Supplied in a compact ABS carry case with foam inserts, the FM-24 is easy to store and quick to deploy.
